Cherry Street Youth Center, Inc., is an Ecumenical Ministry formed to help develop children emotionally, spiritually, physically, and academically in the community.
We are a non-profit, faith-based Youth Center. Our focus has been to share the love of God through Jesus Christ with the kids in Chanute by providing a safe, fun place to go after school with a wide variety of learning experiences and opportunities.
2021 Match Challenge
We Exceeded Our Match Challenge Goal by More Than $52,000. Thank you so much for believing The Cherry Street Youth Center is worthy of your donations and support. We will use every penny to help share God’s love and to grow His kingdom.
Our children are precious and have so much value. We want to be sure every one of them knows it! By being here everyday after school we are able to show them. Your donations help make each day possible.
Thank you, your generosity is overwhelming!
You can help us fulfill our mission...
Cherry Street relies on hundreds of people each day. Without parents sending their children, without children attending, without people making donations and contributions, without staff and volunteers showing up each day, Cherry Street could not fulfill its mission.
The links below are here to help you find the information you need to help us do what God placed us here to do. Please contact us if you can't find what you need or have questions. We look forward to partnering with you.
Cherry Street has always been a place where kids can be seen playing and God can be seen working. If you would like more information on how to enroll your child please visit our parent section.
Cherry Street has always been supported by the generosity of donors, operating on grants and donations both large and small. There are a number of ways you can contribute financially and/or donate items we need throughout the year.
