Back to School and Building on the Rock!
Nothing beats having the kids back in the buildings here at Cherry Street!! The kindergarteners are SO little and the 5th graders THINK they are so big! And the conversations had with middle schoolers definitely keeps you on your toes…..Life is good!
Something we want to impress upon each child everyday is that they are loved. Back to school is a stressful time for kids and families. Kids can have a rough time settling in and adjusting to schedules and early morning wake ups, creating some not so lovable situations. We are here for them. We are here to share God’s love for them and we are here to be a safe haven if needed. Jesus is our corner stone for all things here at Cherry Street.
Please be sure to keep the kids, their families, and our staff members in your prayers. Satan does not like the work being done here and we often need lifted up. We will shine our lights brightly to help lead our kids to Jesus!
